Mark Twain Medical Center (Dignity Health), established in 1951 in San Andreas, is the primary hospital serving Calaveras County residents. Our adjacent county's hospital in Sonora (Adventist Health) is also utilized. Both systems offer full medical services and are approximately equidistant from Murphys.
